Vacuum
The design ideation sketches for the vacuum have been completed with pencil and ball point pens. The full-scale rendering has been completed on a blue print produced from an assembly drawing made on a large sheet of vellum, using a variety of traditional illustration tools and supplies such as fountain pens, markers, color pencils, and pastels. This project has been completed in the Art3 340A Industrial Design II (Fall 1990) course during my undergraduate program in Industrial Design at California State University Northridge. Visual prototypes for the vacuum has been built with acrylic plastic material using the lab facility’s power tools such as drum, belt and disc sanders, bend and table saws, and others.
