Energy-saving Tea Pot
The design ideation sketches and renderings for the tea pot displayed in this page have been completed with fountain pens, markers, ball point pens, color pencils, and pastels. This is one of the product design projects completed during my undergraduate program in Industrial Design at California State University Northridge (Spring 1990). Visual prototype for the tea pot has been built with wood material using the lab facility’s power tools such as drum, belt and disc sanders, bend and table saws, and others; several coats of primer and paint have been applied from spray cans in the school’s spray booth facility equipped with air dust vacuum. The CAD model of another design has been completed in SolidWiorks, during my employment as a part-time Instructor of Engineering Graphics at Santa Ana College (around 2005), for future classroom demonstration purposes.
